This was shot in an old elevator at the Jerome Hotel,
formerly a hospital, possibly a "mental hospital" as
they were then called.

Jerome has a long and tattered history in the west,
was considered a "ghost town", and has since been
rehabilitated. The old original buildings have the
original facades and often much of the original
woodwork, etc. inside. The town makes the most of the
rumours of ghosts, and hence this photograph as we
made our way up to "The Asylum Restaurant"....
