For decades, Humpty has greeted the families that flocked
to Storyland Valley Zoo, and is legendary in many a grown
"kid's" mind. But Humpty is about to be removed from his
precarious perch, archived in the name of modernity as
as the zoo transitions itself to be what it believes is more
relevant look and feel. While the zoo may well be accurate,
it's a bit sad that these storybook figures once so important to
generations of children are no longer part of their vocabulary.

However, Humpty has been on duty for a long time now, and perhaps
it is time for him to be able to retire.
