The Citadel, Quebec City

When going thru my files, I noted that there was little in this image
to make it obviously modern, so I decided to play around with it, distress
it and see if I couldn't make it more reminescent of older times.

I can't even remember all I did... let's see... I converted it to
a Sepia tone using a LR preset, added the vignette in LR, exported
to PS, lightened the centre and darkened the edges a bit more,
added 3 layers of images I had of distressed paper/book covers and
set them to different blend modes (overlay/soft light) and reduced
the opacities, desaturated it, added a film grain over top of
it all to smooth it out a bit, and then... because it was so darned sharp...
it occurred to me the quality wouldn't have been that good, so I used a
soft focus filter at a very reduced strength. I also cloned out one
light post, but other than that it was shot as shown :O)

There were about 20 layers in the PS file.
