Hi Dave,
I was going to make a comment on this composite image yesterday but couldn't think of anything to say. I guess I well say what first came to mind. Pappy was the ultimate combat pilot and was there when our nation need him the most. At the time the Air war in the Pacific was not going our way and his squadron and leadership proved to be the turning point in our favor. A nice tribute to one of our Marine aces...
