Hello, Alex,

Thanks for your comments. I used Canon 70-200/F4L + Canon 1.4x for the birds and Canon 17-40/F4L for some of portraits and landscape. I did not use tripod all the way.

Thanks, David, for telling us the secret about the skin care!!!!I had been wandering for a couple of hours, after I saw the pictures and before I saw your answer here.

Hello, Dennis, thanks for your comments. I used bounce flash (Sigma super dg 500) with side wall or ceiling, depending on the desired facial lighting composition. no diffuser. Flash Compensation of +2/3 might be used if you want to smooth the tones, but be careful about wash-out. BTW: My wife's skin is in great condition (she is a vegan), which is indisputably the most important factor contributing to the overall skin tone. :)

The photo titled Jave_Haloween has superb lighting and great skin tones. Nice pose too,I might add. Did you use bounced flash or some kind of diffuser?
