We traveled along the Glen Highway to visit Eagle River Park and the Matanuska Glacier, and then further north to Denali National Park. The weather was full of change and so was the habitat.
At Denali we joined a tour to Kantishna, 90 miles deep inside the park. Along the road we saw bear, Dalls sheep, moose, caribou, and ground squirrel.
In this trip we were lucky that Mount McKinley, the highest mountain in North America, and the Alaska Range mountains, were out of the cloud in one day.
