The old bath was quite nice, with wood walls. But. But it was dark and small and the area around it was cramped. The contractors figured out how to remove what looked to be a structural column from the middle of the room, making the area outside the bath itself spacious. The washer/dryer live in a nook that previously had been the back entrance.
