The north wing* of the study will have a sloping ceiling, two skylights, and four exposed beams (two new, two original tree-trunk beams). I'm currently thinking of putting the desk directly underneath the two new beams. Thus this is what the keyboard will see when I'm away.
*: The study is an L-shaped room with north and east legs/wings.
