Eastern Road becomes Doonside Road and my next opportunity to call it quits for the day. The Doonside
Railway Station is not far away, as is Featherdale Wildlife Park which is usually crowded with
international visitors looking at koalas, kangaroos, emus, wallabies and other local fauna.
Interestingly, three emus escaped from the park only recently and presumably have taken up
residence in the nearby reserves. I didn't hear whether they were eventually recaptured. Anyway
I am still feeling fit and so I head off to the right to join Bungarribee Road leading into Blacktown.
