Rooty Hill shops include a couple of fast food outlets a hairdresser, a fair sized IGA supermarket
and a hotel. Most shops are clean, well maintained and seem to offer good service. I seek out a coffee
at "Bucks Diner", the name of which does not inspire confidence - I have to admit. As it turned out
the coffee was excellent and my opinion of Rooty Hill climbs still further. I rest for 20 mins, feel
quite revived and resolve to press on with my journey for the day. Walking time up until the break
has been two hours and forty minutes.
