We find ourselves on a pedestrian island in the middle of the aforementioned intersection. The road
to our right leads to the giant Nepean hospital, the largest such facility in far western greater
Sydney. That road continues further toward yet another shopping precinct and onward to the mighty
M4. Ahead, we see the re-constituded old Great Western Highway, which we shall basically follow
until we reach Parramatta.
