Here is the city's central performing arts facility, the Joan Sutherland Centre. It offers multiple
auditoria and fine audience facilities. It is home to the Penrith Conservatorium of Music and to
the well known "Q Theatre". On the other side of the quadrangle is one end of the Penrith Plaza which
with over 300 shops, three huge supermarkets, several department stores and a 10 screen cinema,
it is one of Sydney's largest regional indoor shopping malls.
