The old highway route, at this stage in proceedings, is merely an access road for quiet residential
streets of Emu Plains, where we now find ourselves. We are, at last, out of the Blue Mountains
geographically, although parts of the territory west of the Nepean River still officially form part
of the Blue Mountains City Council area. So far as I (and most other people) are concerned,
however, we now stand in Greater Sydney.
