Finally bought a new body to replace the much loved D40 which I sold a short while ago.
The recently superseded D3100 is a total bargain at the moment and will do things that the D40
simply couldn't. I've been running round, drunk with power, shooting pictures of our cat by
lamplight at f1.8/3200ISO with reasonably sensible shutter speeds. Hardly any noise. Woo hoo!
