presbyterian church wf.jpg

Now I am not an especially religious man but the light striking this old place of worship impressed
me enough to want to take a picture. Sadly this relatively large building is rarely used. It was built
many years ago to house a thriving congregation but there are now only six elderly members left.
Talk is that the property will be sold and it won't be a church anymore. I hate to see that.

It is a great example of light and shade making real interest.
If it makes it any easier, I have almost the opposite near me. An old sports social club has just been bought by a church group and saved it from demolition. They now hold services and community events.

What a beautiful building and lighting! Such a sad story to read. :( I'm sorry the congregation wasn't able to recruit younger people to maintain a thriving church. V

Very nice light and shadows, David.
Like you, I am not religious, but I do admire the architecture.
