The cascades take many shapes. Here the creek forms a deepish pond and the flow eddys around
a little before gathering its wits to move on down the mountain some more. The highlight in the
water looks almost like an artificial underwater "pool light". It is actually a narrow beam of sunlight
which has broken through the surrounding canopy of trees. It was a nothing shutter speed - not fast
enough for sharp results and yet too fast for "slow exposure" results. I could have used that tripod.
