Today's stroll took me along the eastern shore of the Nepean River at Penrith. Here is the old
Victoria bridge, built in 1934, the then principal road crossing at this point on the river, it
replaced an earlier wooden structure. Of course, a kilomentre or so south of here the somewhat
newer six lane M4 motorway bridge is now the main crossing.
