This is the top of a decorative desk pen which my wife bought for a friend. I swear that the thing knows I am
taking a picture of it. Low light, close focus, hand held .... looks like a job for the Sigma 18-200 OS.

Yes John, we are still friends. I love the pen and it sits in pride of place on my desk. Pity you can't see the feet, which are also extaordinary, but the photo is much more dramatic when close cropped. Fun photo!
