Six weeks have gone by. It is amazing how many extraneous things can get in the way to
prevent one from organising things like this. Anyway, we have just crossed the harbour by ferry
and are leaving the wharf. This is the first truly overcast day we have struck since the very first
leg of the journey but at least photography gets easier on such days. We have come across on one
of the "lady" ferries, a class of vessel gradually being replaced by faster, cheaper catamaran
style ferries which offer good accommodation for commuters but far less outside space for tourists
like us. Sigh! I hate the modern world.
