The route now leaves Burns Bay Rd and clings to the waterside. For a brief period we find ourselves
in Linley Point suburbia along Haughton, Linley and View Streets. Heaven knows what the locals think
of 10,000 people tramping through their quiet little patch every October. In any event the process of
"suburban renewal" remains in evidence and there are new houses everywhere - mostly soul-less
"modern" designs like this one (sigh)
