The bench carries yet another of the private memorials we have previously alluded to. The sad part of this
one is that the gentlemean in question was only 37 and in the prime of life when he died. I have thus far
been unable to find out how this system of memorials works but I am coming to believe that they are available
to families who, having scattered the ashes of loved ones along one of the coastal preserves or foreshore
precincts, sponsor public amenities in exchange for the right to mount memorials. Rest in Peace, Tim.
