This 2-10-0 giant was a Danish State Railways (DSB) heavy goods locomotive Class ‘N’. The full sized prototypes
were built in 1943 in Belgium for use on Germany railways. Sometime after the war DSB acquired 11 of these
machines for hauling heavy goods trains in Denmark but they were scrapped in the sixties.

The weight of the locomotive with tender amounted to some 143 tonnes. It had a maximum speed of 70 km/hr
It could pull a 1200 tonne goods train. This model of a German prototype was manufactured by Marklin
and modified to resemble those which found service with DSB.
