Winding our way around toward Millers Point we see the Sydney Ports Corporation control tower. This installation
uses visible observation and a variety of radar systems to monitor commercial shipping in and about Port Jackson.
Traditionally the Rocks was not a home for the nouveau riche. Rather, it was a location for the relatively less
well off. It is here that we start to encounter genuinely old dwellings which had NOT been re-built, restored or
gentrified. It appeared that despite potentially astronomical land values, the people who lived here were poor.
