Thank you to Jaguar and Motor Trend for the free invitation to spend a few hours driving the heck out of every model in the Jag lineup on an autocross course set up on Alameda former Navy base and to top it off they included a cool bag of Jag swag, tasty hors d'oeuvres and road course advice by a team of accomplished racecar drivers. I went with my buddy Rob V and our course advisors were Jerry Rice (not the NFL hall of famer), Davy Jones (not the Monkee pop star) and Mike Finch (a New Zealand Formula 4 champion). Anyway, it was an exciting way to spend a Saturday. The car Rob and I are pictured with is a special edition XK-RS GT which has production limited of only 25 for the US market and this one is the first to arrive and the only one currently in the US. It has 550 HP, top speed of 186 MPH and MSRP of $174K! Lineup included: XJ and XJ-L (2WD and AWD flagship luxury sedan), XF midsize sedan (2WD and AWD V6 and V8), F-Type S V6 and V8, XK (flagship sportscar). Supercharged V6s and V8s ranged from 380 HP to 510 HP.
