Turned 16 in Nov '82 and this was my first car, a 1979 Mercury Capri Turbo. Pretty cool at the time with black interior, stick shift, Michelin TRX tires on aluminum rims. Picture was taken in backyard of Dad's house in Wilson, NC. Can you believe people actually wore shorts like that? (they really did, just watch a rerun of Magnum P.I. sometime).
