There were 249 Shelby Series I sportscars produced between 1998 and 2005 but all were marketed as 1999 year models in order to avoid the prohibitive expense of re-certifying each year through the expensive Federal government crash testing. This was not only an exclusive sportscar (rarer than a Ferrari Enzo) but it was also respected for it performance specifications. It was powered by an Oldsmobile Aurora 4.7 liter V8 with an optional supercharger that enabled 0-60 in 3.2 seconds thanks to its light weight of 2,650 lbs.
My class knows I'm a car nut so they got me this scale model as a token of appreciation and everyone signed it - thank you class 1307 for this thoughtful gift ¸ð¹ü ÇлýµéÀÌ °øºÎÇϰí ÀÌ ¼±¹°À» »çÁּż °¨»çÇÕ´Ï´Ù.
