Here we set up a booth at the Rising Star talent contest and 2nd annual hot rod car and motorcycle show where we gave out promotional items and we explained how AUSA works hard at the national level lobbying to protect benefits for the active duty, USAR/ARNG, retirees, DA civilians and military dependents and also at the local level with AUSA Awards presented to oustanding graduates of the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) and the Defense Language Institute (DLI). But, AUSA's most apparent role is tha of an educational entity with an array of publications from the Institute of Land Warfare and from AUSA HQ incluing monthly magazines, newspapers, and informative studies.
