Does anyone recognize this North Korean PMC Whee-balam II (which means Whistle II). It is made with shared technology by joint venture with South Korean auto makers but I understand it also incorporates technology from Fiat.
Has anyone ever seen a PMC (Pyeonghwa Motors Corporation) North Korean car? If so, please share pictures of it.
I created this by translating screenshots from the homepage of PMC. Photo credit to the original website: http://www.pyeonghwamotors.com/
PMC has what seems to be unparalleled advantages to undercut cars produced anywhere else in the world (even China and/or India) for two reasons.
#1: They pay factory workers $15 US dollars PER MONTH Yes, per month. See paragraph 3 of page 2 of this Washington Post article: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/12/01/AR2008120102574_2.html
#2: They benefit from South Korean advanced technical expertise and business management. The North Korean factory in Kaesong is located just across the DMZ from South Korea and a few thousand South Koreans from over a hundred South Korean companies commute daily to the North Korean factories.
