Don't mind the shot though. I get tired of looking at digital photos that are so "slick" and plastic looking for want of better terms. The shot looks like it has some grain as in the film days and so is an interesting look. Thanks for your comments as well. Noise Ninja is great!

You're likely right in this regard, the a900 was not designed for this work. Although I have more recently used Noise Ninja with Aperture and found the results to be quite excellent.

Judging by the transom of the boat, the low light capabilities of the A900 do not compare to Nikon D3 or D3X for low light and high ISO.
