We are including this shot to illustrate something that happens quite often here in NYC. In this case we had decided at the last moment to see a film at the
Tribeca Film Festival called G.B.F. We arrived an hour early for a rush line and were able to get two of the last available tickets.
The theater was jammed full of excited young people who knew all about the film and the actors involved. (We really didn't have a clue.)
But after the film was over even these 'insiders' were taken aback to realize that nearly the entire cast and much of the production crew were there too.
So often, without planning it, we find ourselves at world premiers or special screenings with meet-and-greets after.
In Florida we were often frustrated because films we had read about and wanted to see wouldn't ever be screened in the area.
