We walked downtown from Columbus Circle to City Center (the theater) which is on on 55th Street to buy some tickets for a future event.
This was once a Masonic Temple and it has recently been fabulously restored to its former glory.

Then we continued south on Sixth and a Half Avenue (really)
but soon went below ground where we were able to wind our way through a labrynth of subterranean walkways all the way to Rockefeller Center (49th street).
When we surfaced we discovered that a cranberry bog had been 'installed'(!).
Hey, they were giving away free little bags of craisins!
