The CBS building on the right is my favorite New York post-war skyscraper.
Although officially credited to Eero Saarinen, I think an associate named Kevin Roche was really more responsible for the design. He later designed the Ford Foundation building on East 42nd Street. For me it was a welcome change from the 60's white structures that seemed to immediately get dirty (Pan Am/Met Life, Lincoln Center).
It also served a useful purpose for me in that the Columbia studios were moved here and that's why I got to work in the classic old Columbia studio on 7thAve&51st
I think it's the Deutsche Bank Building on the left.
