| I travelled to the Arctic and to Svalbard from 16 June to 16 July with Polar Ecology (PolE)aboard the German Research Vessel Polarstern. This trip was mainly devoted to count birds and sea mammals. Our trip started in Bremerhaven (Germany), continued further north along the Norwegian coast, up to 79°N between Svalbard and Greenland. At the end of the trip, I spent a week-end in Longyearbyen (Svalbard) before flying back home. This gallery has 307 images depicting 24 species. |
