NGC 7090 is a spiral galaxy lying in the southern constellation of Indus and located about thirty million light-years from the Sun. Astronomer John Herschel first observed this galaxy on 4 October 1834.
In this image you will notice some galactic cirrus on the left / lower left side of the frame. Also noteworthy is a distant ring galaxy a short distance above NGC7090 and also an intricate spiral to the lower left of the frame, as well as many other background galaxies across the whole frame.
