My wife and I went to Tibet from the end of June to the mid July for about two weeks. We have eleven people + 2 drivers + 1 guide, on a small bus and a four wheel drive Toyota 4500. We took a fly to Nyingchi, around 3000+m and stayed in that area for five days. For the first two days, everyone has a bit of problem with the altitude, but nothing major. We then went to Lhasa, Rikaze, the foot of Himalayas. In the last four day, we were on the cars, through the mountains at north to Xining.
