Each spring for more years than I can remember I return to Yosemite National Park, to conduct a photography workshop. This year I felt especially inspired. And if I'm lucky, I'll be back, newly inspired, next year.

Dave thanks for the comment on the Mono Lake sunset image. I like your glory of Yosemite image. At first glance it reminded me of my Bridal Veil fall image that I am using as my profile image. We both use the power of the fall behind us to express the power of Nature and Yosemite itself. Your falls is the larger fall and definitely portrays it with your arms outstretched. Nice work on the gallery I hope to go back this winter and get some more materials.. good luck and lets keep Yosemite on the map for everyone.

Some day I have to come back to Yosemite with you -- the possibilities of expression here are infinite. Nature is always surprising us at every turn. This gallery is remarkable, Dave -- it one of the most expressive galleries you have put together.

New images, new angles, new memories, and another great gallery of a place you know so well. Returning to the same place trip after trip, year after year and coming away with a different look of Yosemite shows the inspiration of this trip for you. You are correct in feeling that on some trips the inspiration is stronger than others. On these trips the images seem to see and create themselves. On others we need to work especially hard to come away with images that are only good ones at best with the great image eluding us and being just around the next corner or tree. Wish I could get away and join you again on these trips to Wonderful Yosemite.
