The Mérode Altarpiece (also called the Annunciation Triptych), a famous three-panel oil painting
created around 1427–1432 by the workshop of Early Netherlandish master Robert Campin.
Left Panel: Shows the wealthy donors kneeling in a garden and witnessing the sacred event through an open door.
Center Panel: Depicts the Annunciation, where the Archangel Gabriel visits the Virgin Mary.
Right Panel: Shows Saint Joseph working in his carpentry workshop, carefully crafting mousetraps.
