This is a notorious rough spot that's infamous for putting dents in body armor. On my previous trip in a stock Isuzu Trooper I had to take a bypass. This time around the Rubicon had no trouble at all. However it was important to get out of the vehicle and plan the line you would take. You always want to put your tires on the rocks and not straddle them. That way, as your tires climb onto the rocks, the axles lift the differentials over other obstacles. Otherwise, if you straddle a rock, you'll bang the differential, and you might become high-centered (i.e. stuck). You have to remember that the place where you have the most ground clearance is behind the wheels and under the doors.
So once you've planned you line, you put the vehicle in low gear and float over the rocks.
