Actually, this isn't nearly as rough as I remember it on my 1999 trip, where I recall many more threats to the undercarriage. A fair amount of tire spinning was involved in getting up
this slope. It looks almost as if someone brought tons of dirt and placed in on the trail, because my memory is a trail covered with rocks and boulders that much scarier. Well, maybe it's just a case of becoming more hardened with experience.
