I don't know why rocks are on the roof.

The rocks are on the roof to hold down the corrugated piece of metal. Which in turn is protecting the roof and interior from the weather. There must be holes in the roof and Larry O'Neil wanted to protect the inside of the car. See someone still loves all this rusty metal and it should be preserved by an on-site caretaker. I know people are living there now, please bring them water and canned food.
