Warmth and fascination, that's what comes out of this well-produced photograph. As real as a real fire itself; and I've watched logs burning for hours and hours as child, marvelling at the subtle ways in which the charring wood curls, how the little jets of steam spit and sometimes squeal; worrying that putting on new logs will spoil the magic - but it never does... You've captured it so well in this photograph. It can have my vote.
