Thank you, oh, thank you. Your beautiful pictures of English towns and countryside cause me to damn my ancestors who decided to fall for the propaganda and extend the Empire. The first lot came to South Africa in 1857 and the last in 1883. Now I, together with a multitude of men and women who regard themselves as English, have been left as so much drift wood on foreign soil with no hope of returning to what we still regard as "Home". Well, let's not get all maudlin about it! Just put a smile on your face and wave the fleet goodbye. We are now the part of the British Diaspora.
