These shots were taken on Saturday morning 20th February 2010. I drove down to the Bluebell Railway at dawn in freezing and treacherous conditions to be greeted by many locomotives in steam. The early photos were taken in sub-zero temperatures, and the pay-off was LOADS of steam hanging in the air. Featured engine is the visitor 42085 Fairburn Tank.
I always watch the Bluebell website and followed the links to many photo galleries. This one is the best by far. You always seem to add something special to your photography. Fantastic atmosphere, spot on composing, vibrant sharp images. It's bloody perfection man. Keep up the amazing work.

Some stunning early morning photos. Must be one of the best galleries seen. The Fairburn shows itself particularly well. Worth the early morning rise?
