Wow Dave what can I say I absolutely love your painterly effect images, would really like some insight on how you managed to create these stunning effects. The train images as well look like airbrushed illustrations you would see on Hornby picture from years back. Absolutely BRILLIANT. I understand if you don't want to give a way trade secrets but if you have a book you could advise me to purchase to give me pointers that would be great. I only work with Photoshop CS and Lightroom 3 both old versions now and its still a difficult learning process, Im either daft or too old. I found your site by looking infrared images and your image of the church popped up. At present I have purchased a canon 50d with the view in getting it converted. I see you used a 590nm filter is this the best to go for if you want colour and black and white. Would love your thoughts. All the best Dave Currie.

Very nice!
I usually don't like photos that are post processed with paint effects but yours are tastefully done and they please my eyes.
