Oh yes Dave! i like this image a lot (you knew i would) this type of candid erportage photography is always interesting to look at, it tells a story in itself ..
the old ladies at left side the old couple to there right and the lovely girl just off centre of frame all leads you into the photo..

of course the eye is immediately drawn to the sexy young girl just off center but the rule of thirds lead in here is very good, the old iron Victorian lamppost then pulls the eye right to the back of the pier were there is more going on, very nice!
i know its infra red but this would also have looked stunning in black and white whereas maybe the whites could have been less blown (or is that your special effects?
