Thrush Nightingale (Lucinia lucinia)

Hartlepool Headland, Cleveland, UK.

Photo used with permission by Bill Oddie during one of his talks at the 2015 Birdfair.
New life bird for me as one that I saw very breifly 20 or so years ago on Blakeney Point has long since disappeared from my list due to inadequate views, this chap was much more satisfactory.

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Beautifully captured - - reminds me of our Hermit Thrush - - shy and loves to tip the tail up
