An ill fated attempt at whale watching in Monterey Bay! Mel sensibly stayed on shore but all 3 kids came along and the result? No whales, 3 very sea sick kids but all was not lost I ticked Black-footed Albatross :D! On the up side later on that week we all saw a Grey Whale and its calf in the kelp close in from Highway 1!
