Now Know yee that I ye said Sr Wm Berkeley Knt Govr. &c. give and grant unto Capt Wm Cockerham and Mr Charles Barham Eight hundred and fifty acres of Land in Surry County on the Eastward side of the Third Swamp of the Black Water beginning at a marked pine Then East 405 pole, Thence North by East 340 pole Thence parrallell to the first line upon the swamp, Thence along the said swamp to ye first station, The said land being due by Transportacon of seaventeen persons &c. To have & to hold &c. To bee held &c. Yeilding & paying &c. Provided &c. Dated the 14th of May 1666
