To all &c Whereas ? now Know yee(sic) that I the said Sir Henery(sic) Chicheisy(sic) Knt his allies his Deputy Gouvnour(sic) ye Give etc Grant unto Charles Savage five hundred and seaventy(sic) acres of lsnd Subcribe(sic) on the black water branches in the lower Parish of Surry, County, Bounded viz Beginning att(sic) a Pine a Corner tree betwix Major Marriots land, now in the possession of Mr Samll Thompson and Nicho Sessums, &c thence by Sessum’s South East forty, fon’er(sic) po[les]: to a small Pine, thence South West by West three hundred and twenty, po: to a Pine, then North North East one hundred sixty two po: to a white oake in or near the a foresaid Thompsons line and then by his line South East two hundred ninety two po: to the first Station; The said land being Due unto the said Savage by and for the Transportation of twelve persons &c To have and to hold &c To be held &c yeilding(sic) and Paying &c Provided &c dated the 20th day of Aprill(sic) 1682
