Melissa, I have lots of info on the Samson Howell line and descended through the Samson/Levi/Levi line as well. A couple of my (our!!) cousins wrote a book called "The Descendants of Hugh Howell" that lays out all the details they could find. Let's compare notes! My email address is nora.howell.va@gmail.com.

George W was the brother of my ancestor Phebe Howell Price. I can provide descent from their grandfather Levi Howell (a Revolutionary War patriot) for George W and his brother John S via a great deed that names 3 generation of men in that family (1. Levi Sr, 2. Levi Jr, 3. George W and John S), and I know the exact number of siblings that George and John had based on a lengthy biography of John that was written while he was still alive. It stated he was the last survivor of 9 sibling. I'm trying to find/prove all the names of their siblings. I'd love to hear from others in this family, especially if they know of more siblings. I know they also had a brother named Sampson J Howell.

George Marshall Howell and Rachel Harriet Stackhouse Howell were my greatgreatgrandparents. Their son, George Washington Howell, married Alice Harrity/Herritty (some even say McGillicuddy) and their son, George Howell, was my grandfather. He was married to Ruth Ginder from Lehighton. Their daughter, Martha Howell Weiscarger, was my mother.
